Removing Chlorine Taste
For chlorine taste, I’d look at carbon block cartridges before anything else. That’s usually the simplest route if the goal is better taste and smell without adding a full reverse osmosis setup. I had the same issue with city water, and the biggest improvement came from switching to an undersink setup with a proper carbon cartridge instead of relying on a pitcher. While comparing options, I found this house filter system useful because they offer carbon block filters in standard sizes and also have cartridges aimed at chlorine and chloramine reduction. I’d check NSF/ANSI 42 certification, cartridge size, and whether your setup needs 2.5x10, 4.5x10, or a larger 20-inch filter.

Small details make a big difference with daily-use equipment. If replacements are easy to find and the installation does not make routine maintenance annoying, people are much more likely to keep everything changed on schedule instead of putting it off for months.
